CAMP!

   

Hi guys Antonio here, last week we had an awesome adventure and it was CAMP! TO MT RUAPEHU. We had 4 stops, our first ride was to Hamilton Gardens. When we got to Hamilton Gardens we had to go toilet first and eat morning tea, after morning tea we had to go into our colour groups ( My colour group was purple and my group adults was Nichole And Dave) Then we had to get into 2's and we got a pencil and a paper from our adults. We had to go to other gardens in there and try to find the sculpture on our paper in different gardens. Then when we finished we had a small snack and got on the bus to leave. Then after the long ride we got to Otorohanga and ate some lunch and went back to the bus and went to the third stop.

Then we got to our third stop our third stop was Taumarunui Primary we got to play on the playground and on the courts but they didn't have a field. We brought a bag of basket balls, net balls, soccer balls and rugby balls. Then we left to go to our last stop and it was national park / Our hotel. We had to get out of the bus and get our big bags. Then had to get our keys and my room was room 71 and my room buddy's were Alfred and Sifa. Then we had to get our beds and then we had to sort out were our bags are going. Then we went for a night walk and went to sleep.

 Then day two we went to Mount Ruapehu and I was doing skiing  then we got our boots, ski's and poles. Then the next day we went back to the mountain again and we had to return our stuff, but we got to go down the mountain with our skis or snowboards for one more time. Then it was the last day and we had to pack and we had to clean our rooms and give the keys back. Then we sung 2 songs to the people that helped us and gave us dinner. Camp was really fun, I wish we could go back but unless we got to meet up with our family again.

Skiing was extra fun, It could even be one of my new hobbies. but the annoying thing was someone took my ski's but then I found them again. But my favourite was skiing down the mountain, it was my favourite because it was hot there so when I went fast it was nice and cold. And it wasn't scary I was active and ready to fall and ski.

TAEKWONDO

Taekwondo

Hi guys Antonio here, on Thursday we did Taekwondo, we had to do some relays and had to add exercise to it. First we had to get into our lines, then we had to walk back and make a line with six or five people. Then that's when we did the relays. After the relays we practised some scissor kicks. After practising scissor kicks we got to do a scissor kick competition. I stayed in quite long but the person who won the competition was a girl named Caitlin. It was fun and hard working and it wasn't that easy but the competition was actually kinda hard

Maths Task

Hi guys, Antonio here. Yesterday we did maths as a whole class. Our task was to build a small tent, and the material we used was a paper for the platform, modelling clay and tooth picks. It was fun but not so easy. It was not easy because the tent kept on collapsing down and my hands are used to breaking stuff more then being gentle but it was still fun.

 It was fun because we got to get creative and we got to do what we like. I learnt how to make different shapes and I found out it wasn't easy because gravity pulls it down. And for my tent I used triangles, squares and rectangles. 

I think this maths challenge was good because we learnt new shapes and how to make the new shapes.

Chrome Book Rules

Hi guys Antonio here, Today I looked in my folders and found an older piece of work that is a very good piece of work that I am proud of. First we had to write the rules on dictation .Then the real task was to make a slide and take pictures of us doing chrome book rules and then added a speech bubble and writed down the rule. I liked doing this because it was fun and it was easy because we writed the rules in dictation and we knew what to do. Next time I'll try add more writing.

Compare And Contrast

Hi guy's Antonio here. Today I'm going to share my work that I finished. First we had to read two books called up the pipe and world's water running out. Then we had to SMRF the Compare And Contrast and write what are the similarities and write the difference. This was hard for me because the books had some hard words and I couldn't read them.
   
Next time I will try to write more in the three sections.

Painting The Town

 Hi guys Antonio here, Today I have finished my personal response about painting the town. We had to read the book and finish it, then we had to SMRF the personal response and write three things on every section. It was hard, it was hard for me because it is hard for me to do these personal responses because I mostly like everything the books.

My Infographic

Hi guys Antonio here, Today I finished my first ever infographic (yes!) First we had to read the article on kiwi kids news, called Rocket Lab Soars into space ( heres the link http://kiwikidsnews.co.nz/rocket-lab-sours-into-space/) Then we had to find some information about the article, then make a google drawing. Then we had to make a shape and write our information init, then we add a symbol next to it

It was easy for me because I could read the artical and find information and it was fun because I liked making little pictures and decorating it.
